Our leader and conductor Per Rönnblom

is well worth having a look at

Per Rönnblom has been the leader of the choir since the summer of 1995.

Per's background
Per Rönnblom, born in 1959, was educated at the Royal Academy of music in Stockholm, where he obtained his degree in 1986, after studying with Stefan Sköld and professor Eric Ericson. Further studies with Mats Nilsson and Simon Halsey.

Per's motto and driving force
Per wants to achieve an improved quality through work in a cheerful atmosphere and a bold choice of repertoire. Life is too short to be spent singing dull and bad music!

Per on our progress
"Besides improving the regularly performed oratorios, 2-3 a year, we will work intensively on a cappella singing. To improve the singers we have now brought about co-operation with a singing pedagogue."

Per about our repertoire
"We will go on singing 2-3 large oratorios/requiems a year. We will laso give a cappella concerts, among other things to maintain stringency at our tours.
Week-end choir practice in new and pleasant surroundings and journeys, often abroad, have become nice habits.
In short, a choir with strong resources connected with a similar congregation.
We take pleasure in carrying on the strong musical tradition that is an essential part of social life in Nacka."
